Randoms & Remixes is a collection of one offs and single projects I've worked on throughout the past year and a half and put up on SoundCloud here and there. This album is an attempt to wrap everything together despite the various directions they go. The songs "Friday Night" and "Saturday Afternoon" were composed just a few days ago for fun on the most recent respective Friday and Saturday. The song "Willow" came out of a few hours of playing around with an old accordion sample, was composed almost a year ago today, inspired by the buzz around the Fourth of July. "Tails" was one of my first compositions ever, but forever sat on my hard drive because I had trouble mixing it, until I finally released it about eleven months ago. "Fissure" was an experimental electronic project from the summer of 2015. "Freeze" came together in the latter end of winter 2016 and is a hyper blown out cover of the theme from the movie Fargo (basically my commentary on the frigid weather). "Attempt X" started as a "sample attempt" (sampling sounds of horn valves as percussive instruments) in fall of 2014 and then took up space on my hard drive until I rediscovered it early this year and finished it up. The Machinedrum remix was part of a competition on Indaba Music, and the Heathered Pearls was a Ghostly International competition on Beatport.
